James T. Keenan is a dedicated family law attorney who has specialized in family law cases for almost 30 years.

He is a graduate of both the Florida State University, and the University of Florida (cum laude) as well as earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Florida. He earned his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University.

As an attorney he is admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Over his career James T. Keenan has been involved with many professional organizations including the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Family Law Section and Small Business Section of the Florida Bar, the Family Nururing Center of North East Florida, the Florida Family Law American Inns of Court and the National Association of Collaborative Professionals.

Currently he serves as the Mentoring Chair for the Florida Family Law American Inns of Court, and is co-director for the National Associations of Divorce Professionals.

He has always been heavily involved in community outreach projects and has made trips to Honduras where he and other attorneys and judges and built homes for indigent families and their children.
